With the recent weather changes, my voice decided to take a vacation for a few days.

I sound like a smoker.

It's cool.  And by cool I really just mean awkward for the most part.

I hope that my voice is enjoying its vacation while I scramble to finish end of the year projects and tests before finals start next week.  Assuming, of course, that BYU doesn't decide to grant everyone their 11:11 wishes and cancel finals for everyone.

A girl can hope, right? 



On another note, I've successfully spent 6 hours in the library today.  I'm moving up in life.

i'm a wedding crasher.

Tonight, I had the opportunity to crash a fancy wedding reception/dinner with friends in Park City.

There was an annoying guy there who gave too much commentary, a ginormous Hispanic crowd, a baby in a kimono, delicious little whipped chocolate cups, dancing to Party Rock Anthem, and definite opportunities to make some memories.

We gave them a tortilla warmer (per their request, mind you).

They're both Hispanic.  It works.

As for the couple?

Well, they're in love.

And best friends.

Sometimes our biggest battles become our greatest victories.

it happens.

You may have noticed (or maybe you didn't.) that I took a couple of weeks off of blogging.  Let's be honest, I was sliiiiightly obsessed with blogging and blogs and it wasn't super healthy.  But I think I'm good for now.

So in the past month I've been working 40+ hours a week, going to school, and some other fun things like watching the Star Wars movies for the first time or jumping on the tramp in the first snow of the season.  You know, things that normal people do.  ;)

The point is, I'm alive.  And back.  In style.

the beginning.

The past (almost) 2 years of my blogging experience was deleted.  Don't feel bad (assuming you're a good person and you actually felt bad ;) ), because I decided to delete them.  It was clearly time to start anew; with all of the change my life has brought the past few months, this is just a little minor change.

So here's to a new beginning.
